Join Jason for City Council.

I was born and raised in M-section. This city is a lot different now than the one I grew up in. The recent growth we've seen in Rohnert Park is incredible, but it's vital we plan ahead to ensure we're prepared to tackle new issues that arise as we continue to grow.

My top priorities

Tackle homelessness and affordable housing

For starters, we need to ensure the encampments don't continue to grow because that helps nobody. The Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program is available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Through EHV, HUD is providing 70,000 housing choice vouchers to local Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) in order to assist individuals and families who are homeless. Sonoma County has 153 and are using 54. None are allocated to Rohnert Park. Governor Newsome is also introducing a slate of vouchers to combat homelessness, some of which are already available. First thing I would do is accumulate as many of these as possible and put families into homes.

Boost our local economy

Supporting our local businesses is vital. It's proven when local businesses thrive, their owners are more likely to invest back into the community. Creating more jobs and a stronger local economy.

Provide modern education

Provide modern education

As someone who's career has been in tech and cybersecurity, I've seen the benefits that modern education can provide to children and their city.
